Stainless Steel Motors
Stainless Steel motors are called for in applications with high cleanliness requirements, such as pharmaceutical installations, food and beverage processing, and sanitary installations. In addition to the corrosion resistance offered by stainless steel, the motor housings and fans are polished externally and built without crevices to resist contaminant build-up. Stainless Steel motors are vital to contaminant free, safe operation in the above processes. Protection level IP69K can be provided. Motors are built for highest efficiency: IE3 to IE5 with frequency converter.
Stainless motors are specified where wash-down is required, and facilitate Clean-in-Place (CIP) installations.
