Atex EX e is an asynchronous squirel cage electric motor designed and built to operate in explosive and flammable atmospheres.
It has a wound stator, is closed (sealed) and externally ventilated in compliance with EN 60034-6 (IC 411). This fully modular range of motors comes with exchangable feet and flanges.

The motors have an encapsulated enclosure type that meets the requirements set out in European Directives: (2014/34/UE “ATEX” – 2014/30/UE “EMC” – 2006/42/EC “Machinery” – 2011/65/CE “RoHS II”) and with IECEx Scheme (For Ex db and Ex tb protection only).
