The BLDC Motor or Brushless Direct Current (DC) motor is a synchronous motor powered by a DC supply via an inverter.
BLDC Motor design offers high specific torque and higher efficiency than conventional AC motors, especially in low speed applications. They allow accurate speed and torque control, and offer a ‘holding torque’.
The Planetary Gearbox makes it possibel to enjoy the advantages of the BLDC design in low speed, high torque (or vice versa) applications.
