BRUSHLESS DC MOTOR (BLDC/EC)

The BLDC Motor or Brushless Direct Current (DC) motor is a synchronous motor powered by a DC supply via an inverter. 
BLDC Motors have a high torque density, are more efficient than coventional induction motors . No brushes are used, hence 'Brushless Motors', reducing maintenance. The motor speed can be accurately controlled ito speed, torque and poosition, and offer a ‘holding torque’.
