Applications
If a motor is to be flexibly controlled or regulated in terms of speed, torque and/or position, this can often only be achieved by means of an inverter. 
If you then have to integrate various additional input signals into a control loop (e.g. the control processing of reference variables), there are hardly any alternatives to the inverter. 
For this reason, the frequency inverter provides exceptional motor control and is used in all industrial sectors. The high efficiency and the increasingly attractive prices of the latest converter technologies has of late accelerated this process.
For many applications, the device combination, integrated in the motor housing, is very attractive. Installation space is minimised, as is the shielded cabling, and high protection classes (IP55, IP65), can easily be implemented.
